The softness of love
flows easily from you, though
it may not have always been so
but,
how else do we learn if not
through growing pain.
There may have been such longing
long ago
Lost faith, path of destruction
with destination unclear,
unknown
Yet, universal secrets were
somehow revealed
truths shone in deepest reflection.
The last song was never sung
The last note, never played
and life had its way of mending
broken souls through the
tough softness of love.

Ever wonder what happens when you don’t find that love that saves you, when yours is not strong enough to raise you up? Depression??!!! Acceptance?!!! Happy Thanksgiving D, though I know yours was in October, I am so grateful for you today and had to come by and wish you HTD!! Muah! Love and peace your way and forever always!
“The last song was never sung
The last note, never played
and life had its way of mending
broken souls through the
tough softness of love.”

A winner this, especially the last stanza. Great finish.
May all suffering bring insight. But it usually does not, so I also pray that we learn to stop suffering which rarely is of any use at all.

In the end it is love that endures, and all the harsh hatefulness fades to the background. Lovely write, Bren.
