I’ve got the power

Having weed whacked the back yard I was winding the 35 foot power cable up as you do, through open hand to elbow, almost reached the end and it’s getting pretty heavy, hand bent right back. Go to slide it off my elbow and darn if it isn’t too tight, couldn’t shift it at all.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Couldn’t find a pic of a woman to show what was happening but, this gives you the story. My power cord is probably 4 times longer than this guys. I didn’t realise how far back my hand had bent and by the time I’d folded it all and went to pull it off, it was so tight it wouldn’t budge and my hand was changing colour. *Rolls eyes* So (being a bit claustrophobic) I quickly had to unravel the whole thing to free my arm…lol
Ahhh…. it should all be so simple.
  1. Now, I do try to fix stuffs but I will not try to do such hard labor. You are so brave! Please do not do that again. What if you break something? What if you can write another 55??? I truly enjoyed reading it! Bravo
  3. I SO hear you! I have been WRESTLING with our hose all summer. And we even have one of those boxes that rolls them up – but it doesnt work (at least not for me). It is so nice to know I’m not alone in being attacked by domestic cords. We might need to form a support group:)
  4. LOL I had my arm caught a time or two, but I’m not claustrophobic so it didn’t bother me, give those weeds an extra whack.
  5. Yikes! I usually try to use the back of a lawn chair or something rather than my arm….less painful. LOL.
  6. . . . and the power has gotten you! Too bad you couldn’t take a picture while in the grip of the power cord. I recognize that instantaneous feeling of claustrophobia too.
