Some say it’s fallacy
others though
believe the Knights Templar
fought to protect something
so precious that even today
is still a mystery
and,
numerous books with
various theories abound
about what it was they found
those centuries ago.
Standing at the crossroads
between what is fact or fiction
I teeter on the edge of
wanting to believe
they protect the secret, still
of a Holy Blood Line.

Love a good book 🙂 That is the inspiration for the poem.

Interesting! I’ve read only one book by Rollins, but liked it a lot.
So much mystery in life. This is quite intriguing and I just might read the book.
Oh yes. I, too, have contemplated the nature of the secret and possibilities of that bloodline. And I wonder why so many are afraid of what might be.
This can apply to so many things!
Yeah … this topic really intrigues me 🙂
I do think Bill put his finger on it! All else IS doubt.
Writers have a way of creating something. The more mystifying the greater the rage that results. It’s good fun to read for most. Great thoughts, Bren!

There are some things we will never know ~ Thanks for the recommendation ~
Knights in shining armour of a different kind. Nicely written.
Yeah always interesting to think about what happens if a sliver of it is true and to read a good book.
Intriguing…Keeping an open mind works for most people. Can’t always have it in black and white so crossroads is fine:)
it is amazing how many books have popped up once the davinci code came out…and in reality it is fiction…the book that is…and everyone has their spin on it…love james rollins though…particularly his early stuff…have not read this one…will check it out…
That sounds like an awesome book!
Cool. That was in Dan Brown’s book, too. They had something worth both living for and dying for. You put it very nicely, and stand at a fine crossroads with me and others.
