Where do we go when feelings
run as deep as the river flows
peace becomes a stranger
night brings no reconciliation
and the journey never ends.
Another world
a different shore
where she describes infinity
and what dreams may come
with surrender.
Four walls and a roof
make a house
but,
it’s the hearts that love
inside those walls which
make the house a home.
Love is my home
What choice do we have
but to follow
where it leads.

No choice but to open the shades and let the sun shine in.
Came back for anothjer read. I so love “love is my home”
totally agree…a house is just a house..it’s the people and relationships that make it a home.. we should spend more time on building those instead of dead walls..
o you romantic you! I shall light a candle for that dream of yours 🙂
… and I love you … always, cat.
I like your idea of home being love…where the love is…
Thanks for the lovely thoughts.
Peace,

YES! Beautiful and true.
nice bren i agree with what makes a house a home is who is inside for sure…love is my home…smiles…and i hope it always is…
Beautiful, yes, what chose, but to surrender~
I love this 😀
oops meant choice…
Hey dreamer, great look at the most spacious house of all, dare I say – loved it!
I wish more people actually realised this… And took time cherishing their love (regardless of what that would be) rather than chasing after fame and fortune… Beautiful! *sigh* Really beautiful!
Great angle to approach it from – and beautifully executed.
This is really moving. Lovely write!
Very true, must continue to build with the ever changing flow or get sucked down river.
Home definitely is everywhere love is!
No choice at all.
I agree this is wonderful and speaks of the spirit of the home…where the heart and love resides…very appropriate for Victoria’s prompt.
I’m sure Victoria would really appreciate it if you linked. It works for her prompt this week.
BTW, my archangel poem has the link to the prompt if you need it.
The work that goes into building a “home” versus a “house” far exceeds that of the physical structure and is never finished. Thought-full poem.
did u also link this on Liv2Write?
