Arctic Sonata

Music plays passionate love themes
and sun light too, plays across
the quiet hours.

Glass angels keep watch
over prismatic glass candles
each one, a treasure.

Emotions unveiled
(once clear choices, too.)
I reminisce
it is what it is
and, smile for their

Winter hearts beat through
these, the coldest of days
invisible  arms envelope
the ache
and I come to peace again as
we share the Arctic sonata.

  1. Hello.
The imagery of this so refreshing.
Right now, I guess we’re sharing the arctic sonata…it’s freezing today!
    Beautiful as always.

  2. This is very fine writing. I am trying to think or articulate what it is that cappers me. It is your voice, there is such clarity, it is well defined, but gentle and tender. I like it.

  3. Really like how each of these stanzas can easily stand on their own individually. It’s funny, as I have always felt as if music can have a warming or almost sun-like effect. second stanza is my favorite here, love the word choices that make it up, and just the way the image feels when reading it. Really nice write. Enjoyed it. Thanks

  4. Really like the warmth you set up at first, but then you had to go all cold once more, here is bad enough, you can keep the artic..haha
