The King and I

Life isn’t lived in black and white where
kings submit to love instead of rule
but neither is love all fantasy.

Dare to dream.

Come fly with me
beneath a night of stars
where nothing lies beyond
and all is gone behind
in passing passages.

Caprice in mood and motion
I’ll ask:
‘Shall we?’

take your hand and dance you
to the music of
‘getting to know you’ time.

    1. ‘Shall we?’ I remember that! He proceeded with regal dance steps, with hands above his head and stomping around the palace hall! I remember that! Great Mag!

  4. As long as no crashing is involved I guess the cat will fly with you, throw in a little grey and black and white becomes blue.

  5. Just woke up a minute ago … for some strange reason … found your post and a piece of your very soul … thank you … Love, cat.
