In slow motion melancholy
I caught a certain sigh
held it for a while
then let it go
a soft kiss
to waiting breeze.
Sometimes it’s all so clear
crystal clear
when the light is at its zenith
I see what lies beneath
in the most gracious ways
(and breathe)
Perchance there’ll be
a face in passing clouds too
during this
Interlude in blue.

“a soft kiss to waiting breeze’ 🙂
I liked the imagery! real nice!
loved it…
slow motion melancholy….i don’t want to be there…like Hamlet in slow motion?
Dreamy poem, Daydreamer. I like the idea of finding faces in the clouds. (However here right now the whole sky is overcast. Sigh.) The arrangement of your words worked effectively too.
Lovely, except I hope the interlude in blue isn’t a period of sadness.
So blissful such a blue grace!!
Love the effect of the lines!

Interlude … yes … gives on time to breathe … even a kiss needs an interlude … Love you, Bren. Always, cat.
Nicely succinct.
beautiful and comforting ….you bring a warmth to blue ..thank you x
The pic is awesome and so is your poem – interlude in blue is such a captivating phrase.
I love the dreamy interpretation~ So beautiful and layered, so human! Well Done~
Stunning! You cpature the reader from beginning to end.
Lovely images of interlude in blue ~
Beautiful, tranquil, peaceful…….melancholic, wistful and…..blue. The image is perfect also. Just beautiful writing, kiddo.
Lovely write. It flows smoothly and slowly. Loved the ‘(and breathe)’. One can take it all in like fresh air. Invigorating. Thanks for sharing 🙂

You sure don’t get blue with blue just look what you do. Seeing beneath it all allowing it to be as clear as a magic 8 ball..haha
Nice flow. ‘Like the way the blue mood is captured with warmth, yet there is a clarity.
