I used to fear it.
Dreaded sleeping night terrors that darkness held.
Until I discovered that the light inside me would set me free…of you.

Loved this!
snaky tales
I agree with Polly’s comment, that we should trust our inner light.
Very well done.

Oooooo! I’m kinda afraid of the dark, too. But sounds like there’s someone in the dark to be afraid of…or in your dreams. Great job with just 25 words!
those inner lights can truly shine!
Enjoy your take on the prompt…

I REALLY appreciate this one and would like to send it to someone. Great job.
So well done. You captured the essence of each of our quests.
I used to be afraid of the dark, but now I can walk all around the house with no lights on and not get spooked!
We should all trust that inner light of ours!
i hate night terrors, I can’t fall asleep on my back for fear of suffocating, my breathing stops sometimes, (might be my medication doing it?) nights are always a shore for me, glad the fear is conquered in this write though
I like it. Made my skin crawl a little.
Yeah “IT” was a really scary clown, I’d fear “IT” too. Oh wait you mean the dark, whoops..haha
I like this!
Nicely done, this!
