Naked Thought

NAKED THOUGHT

All doors open
thought,
transparent
…naked.
Not a new concept
but in keeping with old
indomitable truth’s tradition.

Through crystal glass windows
(some might call a diverse dverse)
I’ve seen rainbow colour prisms,
share their kaleidoscopic rays
as yet, unscathed by
strife scratched days.

Where Angels must dream
in my sky of satin blue
I too, am so aware
that a single drop of H2O
holds all of universal time
and DNA strands are
as powerful now as in their
unique and ancient creation
almighty, but yet
as delicate as a butterfly
sits upon the hip
of life.

  1. I will admit to not reading the rest and just spending minutes just chewing and loving these lines 🙂

    “All doors open
    thought,
    transparent
    …naked.’

  2. Beautifully done~ ‘Where Angels must dream
in my sky of satin blue’ to that lovely ending of the ‘delicate butterfly on the hip of life’ ~ just lovely!

  3. I really liked, “I’ve seen rainbow colour prisms, share their kaleidoscopic rays as yet, unscathed by strife scratched days.” And, what a great pic, too 🙂

  4. I love these philosophical reflections, I have similar moments of wonder, the H2), the DNA. I especially love the butterfly poised lightly on the hip of life. Wow!

  5. Great poem to go with the imagery.
Loved this line: “as delicate as a butterfly
    sits upon the hip
    of life.”

Nice to see you in for the opening of dVerse and thanks for commenting on my “hot” one! 😉

  6. Love the pic and the way your poem plays off of it.

“that a single drop of H2O
    holds all of universal time”

Those two lines were wonderfully done. Just like the play on time and images they bring forth.

Also having all that dna in H20 means at some point it came out someones, you know. That’s just my fact for the day..haha

  7. Lovely picture … I might have to use this sometime in my blog *smiles*

As to your words, i love your creative take on that single drop of life on the hip ~

Great to see you at D’verse~
