Water, Wind and Stone

Across the water

she waits
where the mountains
meet the sky.

With a genteel radiance
she describes infinity
through the beauty of
her eyes.

Atuned to Earths vibration
I hear melodies in
hidden caverns
that reverberate to my
soul’s dance

Silent to all
save those who sing
of the joys to be shared
in the comfort of their truth

love still blooms
in water, wind and stone.

I believe that Love is everywhere…. both within us and without and, I believe everything we see and that which we don’t see is also alive, water, wind and yes, I believe even stone has its own type of life.

Love just….IS

  1. You are right in thinking I would love this poem. Do you ever have contact with her in spirit? Thank you for calling this poem to my attention, so sweet, honest and true. Hugs, pat

  2. This one totally deserves the Perfect Poet Award!! Congratulations, it is indeed a beautiful poem. Will definitely be back for more. 🙂

  3. I agree with you, all those things are alive and they are here for a purpose, just like us. And love is the one that brings us all together. I get it. Sometimes, however, love is not for us to keep. It just IS there. I get it.

  4. Great writing and your last sentence told a big story on the writer , you are very attuned to nature and the land and as such you can only possess a beautiful heart

  5. yOU Hhave no idea just how much I needed to read this right now.
Thank you from deep within my soul. thank you.

  6. your belief on love is true.
although one entry is preferred, in case a poet wish to share 2nd one, no harm done.
it is not official requirement, hope that you enjoy the rally.

visit as many as you wish!

  7. Love just Is, yes … and it has many faces, many colurs and shades … thanks for sharing part of your soul. (I have to work away for a stretch, but I’ll be back and take in your wonderful world od poetry and thought). Have a good w/e, eh? Love, cat.

  8. I think you are right in one sense: there’s a sort of good feeling that we call love (too) and we can find everywhere, just as you say. But there’s another kind of love and that one (I bet!) we cannot find everywhere. And, until we find it, we are allowed to say that “love doesn’t exist”. We sound very different, but I don’t think we are that different. You aim generality and I aim specificity. I like differences, as long as they are not antagonistic.
